What's New
1. NSW Optical Dispensers Licensing Board Scholarship Program
The NSW Optical Dispensers Licensing Board is proud to announce the introduction of a Scholarship Program designed to encourage Optical Dispensers to undertake further tertiary education.
The Board makes available 12 scholarships each year to suitably qualified NSW licensed optical dispensers to assist them to further their competency in optical dispensing by completing the “Diploma in Ophthalmic Practice Management” course conducted by the OTEN College of TAFE in conjunction with ADOA.
Each scholarship will cover the tuition cost of the course which is currently valued at $1844.00.
Applications are considered by the Board once per year. The closing date for receipt of applications is 31 March each year.

3. Code of Professional Conduct
The Optical Dispensers Licensing Board has established a Code of Professional Conduct. The Code sets out the rules of conduct that should be observed by licensed optical dispensers in their professional practice
